1962 Diary of a Minnesota Housewife — Pt. 11

Fri. Feb.9. 14 above and not too cold. Art to work & kids to school. After school Marge & I went to Dayton’s for shoes for her and clogs for Art and valentines. We bought a knitting spool and some yarn. Billy & I took the evergreen branches off the window frame. They burned briskly. Sat. Feb.10. Girls went to choir practice and had a valentine party. Art was working, so I took them down to the music lesson and picked them up after. Stopped at the drugstore in between. Baby enjoyed the ride. Washed every day this week and haven’t caught up yet.
