1946 Diary of a Minnesota Farmer — Pt. 4

Monday. Tuesday. Sold potatoes. Old house field almost finished. Went to town with cream. Got butter & chick starter. Groceries & exchanged overalls at Gambles. Talked with Ralph, Jessie. Appointment next Wed. for tooth ex…They came for the 7 young stock, loaded nicely. Emil Carda ck $651. Thursday: Spread lime most of today. Except for feeding & cleaning cows. Sold 112 lbs potatoes to Templin. Washed some clothes at 6:00 tonight. May get to 35 degrees tonite. Last nite was freezing. Will give my hair a hot oil treatment yet — it’s 10:15.
